The draw has been made for the semi-finals of both the NW Senior Cup and Sammy Jeffrey Shield.

Last season's beaten finalists Brigade will meet Newbuildings, with the game at Beechgrove taking place on Saturday due to their involvement in the All-Ireland T20 final against Cork Harlequins on Sunday.

It will see Johnny Thompson and Gareth McKeegan return to their former club where they enjoyed such success over a decade.

In the other tie, high-flying Bready have home advantage against Eglinton, whom they beat convincingly in the league on Saturday.

In the Sammy Jeffrey semi-finals, Championship winners St Johnston entertain Glendermott, while Strabane host Fox Lodge in a match which is a repeat of last week's Eric Cooke final, won by the Red Caps.

Those ties will be played this Sunday, August 22nd.
