Fox Lodge women are hoping to win the cup for a fourth successive season after beating Coleraine earlier this week.

The Foxies will have to wait a while longer to know their final opponents after the other semi-final between Killyclooney and Bready was postponed due to the weather.

“We’ve had a really strong season and have only been defeated once,” said Mollie Devine. “We played our semi-final game away to Coleraine in high spirits, with a great team performance, which saw us through to the final.

“It was great to be able to contribute, and there were other solid performances from Sarah Black and Lucy Neely especially. We are still waiting to know our opponents, but no matter what for certain it’ll be a hard-fought final.

“We always step up in the final as we love the competition and we’re really hoping to keep the cup in Ballymagorry where we feel it belongs!”
