Ireland international Kevin O'Brien has one eye perhaps on the future as he has accepted a coaching role in the UAE T10 League.
O'Brien will be assistant coach of the Delhi Bulls who are led by Andy Flower.
The 36 year-old was axed for only the second time in his 15 year international career this week, and is obviously keen to stay in the game when his career ends.
O'Brien has been one of the best players in T20 cricket, and along with Paul Stirling has forged a dynamic opening partnership in the format.
Stirling is the only Irish player featuring in the competition, playing alongside Chris Gayle for Team Abu Dhabi.
Former Irish captain William Porterfield is another keen to get on the coaching ladder, and was part of the Warwickshire coaching set-up last year during the T20 Blast.
