Ryan Barr is making the short trip across the Limavady Road to join Brigade from Glendermott.

The left-hander was previously at Beechgrove for a short stint in 2011, and also enjoyed a successful spell at Bready, where he also won a senior league medal.

"I'm just glad to be back at Brigade after 10 years," Barr told CricketEurope.

"I'm excited to be playing with some of the best players in the league and to be playing alongside my brother David again.

"Brigade is a great club and they have a had a lot of success since I was last there. I am hoping we can add to that this season.

"I'd like to thank Glendermott for making me so welcome their this past few seasons and I wish them success going forward.

"Like everyone, I'm looking forward to getting started again, with the season starting in early May."
