Strabane all-rounder Ryan Gallagher is joining North County for the 2021 season.

"It's a move I've been contemplating this past few seasons, and I've had a number of conversations with Eddie Richardson.

"When John Mooney became Head Coach it was a no-brainer for me. I trained last winter four or five times with them but didn't play due to the pandemic.

"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge, and having played three seasons previously in Dublin, I know what to expect, and am excited by the squad we are putting together.

"I've no doubt we will bounce back to the top flight and hopefully be in the mix for the later rounds of the cup competitions, bringing some silverware back to The Inch.

"I've had a great time at Strabane and wish them all the best for the forthcoming season."
