Cricket Ireland are mulling over tweaks to their interprovincial schedule ahead of the season getting under way next month.

With senior cricket in Leinster looking as if it will start a month later than their northern counterparts, the powers that be are keen for their internationals to get as much competitive action under their belts ahead of their three World Cup Super League game in The Netherlands.

There are currently four 50-over fixtures slated for July and August, and these could be brought forward to May.

The women's Super Series schedule is also being re-examined following the postponed of the World Cup Qualifiers in Sri Lanka from later June to December.
