Bready have confirmed they have re-signed overseas professional Irosh Samarasooriya for the 2021 season.

The Sri Lankan all-rounder played a pivotal role as the Magheramason club captured the Premier League for the first time in their history in 2018.

The 30 year-old has been the epitome of consistency at the Magheramason club, and has proved a real asset.

"The club are delighted to have Irosh return for a fourth season," said Trevor Hamilton.

"Since Irosh arrived in 2017, he has worked hard both on and off the field and with the addition of U13 and U18 Girls plus U18 Boys teams, Irosh’s coaching role will be extended.

"This will complement our new outdoor practice area which is due to open within the next week."

Irosh also helped the side capture the NW T20 trophy in his first season at the club in 2017.

The NW season looks likely to start on May 15th, with sides initially playing T20 games only until restrictions are further eased.
