• Captain: Jack Gibson
  • Players in: James Kennedy (CSNI); Michael Glass (Lisburn).
  • Players out: James McClean (Muckamore)

Ballymena have been boosted by the return of the experienced James Kennedy, while having Michael Glass join from Lisburn will further boost their batting.

On the debit side, James McClean has departed for Muckamore.

The first XI will be back playing on the main square at Eaton Park in 2021, following a temporary relocation to their second square during the Covid-affected 2020 season.

James Kennedy is returning to Ballymena

Jack Gibson is skipper and he's happy with the squad at his disposal as they look to push for promotion.

"Ballymena players to keep an eye on would include Owen Dick, who is bowling beautifully in training and we hope he'll have a big impact this season.

"Sam Glass's spin is likely to pose a significant challenge to batsmen throughout the league too.

"The return of James Kennedy from CSNI and the arrival of Michael Glass from Lisburn promises to substantially strengthen our batting.

"Hopefully we can push for promotion back to the top tier of NCU cricket in 2022."

They start their campaign on Saturday with a home fixture against Derriaghy.
