Three games failed to beat the elements with the games at Ballyspallen and Ardmore failing to start. while Bready and Burndennett stopped at the halfway stage. On the field Brigade, Eglinton, Newbuildings and Coleraine won.

Foxies captain Aaron Heywood and fellow spinner Johnny Robinson took a combined 6-29 as Coleraine were restricted to 72 for 9.

Fox Lodge though struggled too in a stuttering start - 11 for 4 after 8 overs with skipper Stephen Hutchinson 1-4 and Gareth Burns 2-6 producing great spells.

That became 11 for 5 in the 9th as Gordon Cooke took a wicket, while former Ireland A left-arm spinner Scott Campbell then took 4 for 19 to seal a 27-runs win.

Newbuildings were the biggest scorers of the day as an opening stand of 81 in 8.3 overs between captain Gareth McKeegan 40 off 30 balls (5 sixes) and Mark Hanna (31) set the tone.

Ross Dougherty hit 53 not out from 22 balls (7 fours, 3 sixes) as he plundered 42 off the last two overs - Ryan Hunter also making 35.

Glendermott were never in the hunt, although number 11 Tylor Moore top scored in an entertaining cameo of 34 in 11 balls (4 sixes and 2 fours) as they made 118 - three wickets for Trent McKeegan and Jason Dunn, while JT picked up two.

At Bonds Glen, the Eglinton attack all bowled tightly, as only Stephen Barr got past 20.  Mark Averill  and Simon Dunn with two wickets apiece.

Openers Craig Averill (49*) and Tommy Orr (33*) eased to a ten wicket win with four overs to spare.

At Beechgrove, Brigade made it four wins from four as they overcame Strabane.

Ifty Hussain 52 (4 fours, 2 sixes) added 76 for the fourth wicket with skipper Andy Britton 36 (2 fours, 2 sixes) to rescue them from 58 for 3 at the halfway stage to 134 for 4 in the 19th.  Three wickers for Ehtesham Ahmed.

Strabane openers Tom Harpur (son of Irish international Tommy) (43) and Kevin Gallagher (41) added 78 in 12 overs, before former Irish youth international Nick Donnell took 3 for 11 in 4 overs to put brakes on the Red Caps pursuit.
