New format, new teams, new players, but same result as Leinster Lightning beat NW Warriors to claim their eighth successive 50-overs cup title.
Chasing 232, Leinster were in a spot of bother at 46 for 3, but a fourth wicket stand of 123 in 27.3 overs between skipper George Dockrell, and Ireland captain Andy Balbirnie ensured yet another trophy is Dublin bound.

Leinster have now won an incredible 20 of the 24 titles on off since the interpros re-started in 2013.
Dockrell has been the form batsman of the tournament, and once again he looked in sublime touch, recording his fifth successive score of over 50. His 67 today taking his season aggregate to 364 runs at 121.33.
Balbirnie's unbeaten 85 saw him beat Dockrell to the Man of the Match award.
There was a slight opening for the Warriors when Dockrell and Simi Singh departed in quick succession, but with 51 required from six overs, Jamie Grassi struck consecutive sixes to ease the tension.
His run-a-ball 21 coupled with Balbirnie's unruffled innings meant the result was rarely in doubt thereafter as Barry McCarthy applied the coup de grace.

Malahide's David O'Halloran was the most successful of the Leinster attack - his 4-44 rocking the Warriors who slumped to 151 for 7, despite a fine 33 by William Porterfield.
Andy McBrine top scored with 72, but it was Rush and Glendermott teenager Nathan McGuire who ensured the Warriors would have a competitive total.
His hard-hit 53 not out came off 46 balls, included 5 fours and 2 sixes, the last of which was a reverse sweep that brought up his maiden List-A half century.
His last wicket stand with Craig Young (13) was worth exactly 50 from 39 balls, and ensured a competitive match.
Leinster, as they do so often, found a way, and in Dockrell and McCarthy had the two outstanding players in the tournament.
Munster Reds have still three games to play, and they entertain Northern Knights on Thursday - the game being played at Sydney Parade with The Mardyke still unplayable.
