There are four new faces at The Hills, including two major signings, with Murray Commins (pictured right) and Dylan Blignaut making their way to Milverton.

Commins, who has been impressing in the interpro series with Munster Reds, had originally been scheduled to play in the Northern Cricket Union with CIYMS, but visa type issues meant that his registration was not accepted.

The 24 year-old left-hander is a quality batsman and The Hills' capture is a real coup for them.

Joining him is fellow South African Dylan Blignaut, who has played youth cricket for Eastern Province and has some English county second XI experience.

Sameer Dutt and Gavin Morgan also join, adding further depth and quality to the ranks.

On the debit side, Devender Ranolia and Bhavesh Lakhotia are off to pastures new.

"We are all really excited to support skipper Tomas Rooney Murphy and see how our younger guys go considering they've got another year of senior cricket under their belts," said a club spokesperson.

"I'm confident we will start seeing surnames like Kavanagh, Everard, Nulty, Farooqi and McGrane appearing more regularly in the runs/wickets columns after the work they've been putting in.

"Between these younger guys improving and the addition of a few new faces, Iím certain that the future looks bright and that we can continue to be amongst the trophies again this year.

"It's just great to be able to get back to The Vineyard after a tough few months and it will be especially nice to welcome spectators back when that is allowed."

There's a real baptism of fire for the new faces as the season gets under way next Monday (June 7th) with a home game against North County.
