Fiachra Tucker (pictured) is once again at the helm at Pembroke, but their quest for silverware may be hampered by the limited availability of their Irish international quartet.

The squad is more or less the same as last season, aside from a few Trinity outs for the first part of the season, while Diarmaid Tucker is back full-time.

"The lads are itching to get stuck into the season and some competitive cricket next week after a very long and hard winter," said Tucker, who lifted the Irish Senior Cup in 2019 with the Sydney Parade side.

"The depth of the squad is going to be pushed to the limit again this year with a packed summer of international and interprovincial fixtures, which will be a great opportunity for some of the young lads to put their hands up and perform this season.

"The shortened season means that every game is going to be vital, and we are going to have to hit the ground running on the 7th June away against North Kildare.

"The lads are hungry to continue to strive for silverware this season, and hopefully come September we will have achieved that."
