Bready beat Fox Lodge by 49 runs to join Eglinton at the top of the NW Women's Premier League.

Eglinton had gone top by virtue of Killyclooney's concession, unable to field a side for the third round of games having suffered heavy defeats in their opening two matches.

At Ballymagorry, Bready were indebted to 48 from Alana Dalzell as they posted 104 for 5 in their 20 overs, well supported by Jemma Rankin and Steph Wilkinson who both reached double figures.

In the reply, Fox Lodge weren't able to get any momentum as the Bready bowling unit offered very little wayward opportunities.

There were three wickets apiece for Steph Wilkinson and Jemma Rankin as the Foxies just got over halfway to their target - ending on 55 for 9, with Hannah McLaughlin making 21.

Just up the road at Strabane, Coleraine achieved their first victory at the third attempt.

An opening stand of 34 between Kylie McGarrigle (18) and Anji Porter-McHugh (13) laid a solid platform, but Kia McCartney (3-4) and Georgina Miller (2-3) turned the contest on its head as the hosts ended their 16 overs on a total of 63-8.

Two wickets for Courtney Deans offered Strabane hope, but Eva Gaston with an unbeaten 26 and Kenya McCartney with 12 sealed a seven-wicket win in the 11th over.
