It's a huge weekend for Bready as they face Newbuildings and Burndennett with a place in the semi-finals of the T20 Cup up for grabs.

A fine all-round display last week saw them ease to the win against Glendermott and set up an intriguing game at new kids on the block Newbuildings, which is a clash skipper Davy Scanlon is clearly relishing.

"It was a great win against Glendermott, with bowlers really hitting the right lines and lengths over past two games, and the fielding improving.

"It was brilliant to see Davy Rankin and Irosh score some runs and be responsible for the win and doing so with full bonus points.

"We are progressing and hope to be at full tilt this weekend. After the disappointment of a wash out with no points versus Burndennett, having already beaten Newbuildings it gave them a real boost to go above us!

"We are looking forward to the game and with the obvious atmosphere that will be there will make it into a great contest".
