Derriaghy continue to be the early pace setters in Section One as they beat the weather and challengers Saintfield by four runs.

Jordan Wade top scored with 48 and Craig Lewis chipped in with 27 as they posted 138 for 6 - three wickets for Patrick Telford and two for Ross Murray.

The Saintfield chase had made a solid start with Matthew Hammill making 33, and star batsman Gareth Harrison on 27 not out, had reached 70 for 3 in 10.3 overs when the rain came.

The DLS sheets showed the home side four runs ahead - I'd have lost that bet. I would have guessed Saintfield slightly ahead.

That's five wins on the bounce for the Queensway side and confirms their place at the top of the table.

Cregagh stay second after an emphatic 95-run win at Bangor.

Half centuries for Jay Hunter (74) and Aaron Johnston (72)  propelled them to the biggest score of the day, 199 for 6 at Upritchard Park.

Bangor never got close, as four wickets for Craig Irvine and two for Graeme Hassard saw the seasiders finsh on 104 for 9.

Cliftonville Academy are third after their fourth win of the campaign in a rain affected clash with Donacloney Mill.

Three wickets for Brian Anderson and Jonny Terrett restricted the home side to 86 for 8 - Aaron Kennedy top scoring with 31.

Rain revised the visitors target to 69 in 12, and despite losing fove wickets they got there with two overs to spare.

It was a similar tale at Moylena where Armagh beat Muckamore by eight wickets chasing a DLS target.

Ewan Wilson (32) top scored for the hosts as they made just 96 - three wickets for the Wrights - not Orville and Wilbur - but Aaron (3-17) and Matthew (3-19).

Jamie Rogers' unbeaten 41 ensured a routine chase.

The final game between Ballymena and Templepatrick was abandoned between innings, after the Eaton Park side had scored just 87 for 6 - James Kennedy and John Glass making 26 apiece, while there were two wickets apiece for Michael Stewart and Phillip Kernaghan.
