Andy McBrine is the only player who will miss the start of the Premiership on the day he was due to take over the captaincy of Donemana, for their Group B game against Coleraine.

All 15 senior teams have been divided into two groups for the first half of the new-look league, with the top four playing the top four in the other group before the teams go into a knock-out phase, the top eight playing for the Premiership and the bottom seven for the Championship.

Brigade are the defending champions from 2019 and they start with what captain Andy Britton says will be their toughest test in Group A, away to Bready who he describes as “dark horses” to claim their title.
