After six weeks of Section One League action Derriaghy retained their unbeaten status with a four wicket win away to nearest challengers Cregagh.

A maiden century for the home side by Danny Cooper who scored 104 and Jay Hunter's 89 carried Cregagh to an impressive 262/6, with Craig Lewis claiming 3-52 for the visitors.

But it proved not to be enough and it was Lewis again who dominated the Derriaghy scoring 140 as Derriaghy eased to the win with more than 6 overs in hand. Ross Boultwood with 3-58, the best of the Cregagh bowlers.

The other four Section One fixtures scheduled for yesterday were postponed due to Challenge Cup involvement and will take place today (Sunday), a chance for Derriaghy to add to their eight point lead at home to Muckamore and for Cregagh to keep in touch on their visit to Saintfield.
