The Leinster selectors have named their squad for the Emerging Interprovincial series which gets under way later this month.

There are four players from Malahide, including David O'Halloran who was the breakthrough player in the InterProvincial Cup, won by Leinster for an eighth successive time. Alistair Frost, Cameron Shoebridge and Alan Reynolds are the others from the village club.

YMCA, Merrion and Pembroke all have three representatives. Rory Anders, Mikey O'Reilly and Mitchell Thompson - who was in the Munster Reds squad earlier - are from Claremont Road.

JJ Garth from the senior squad is joined by Sydney Parade team mates Gavin Hoey and fellow leg-spinner Fiachra Tucker.

Two other players who featured last month for Munster - Merrion's Jack Carty and Amish Sidhu - are in the squad alongside their Anglesea Road skipper, Tom Stanton.

Making up the 17-man panel are Conor Fletcher of Balbriggan, Clontarf's Fionn Hand, Jamie Grassi of Phoenix and Seamus Lynch of Terenure.

Tim Tector of YMCA isn't in the squad as he will captain the Ireland Under 19 line-up. Each of the four teams will play eight games, four in the T20 format and four 45-overs match - the reason for five overs shortened given as limits on bus drivers times.
