Bready maintained their lead at the top of the NW Women's League after a fine all-round team display saw them beat Eglinton by nine wickets, while Fox Lodge beat Coleraine in the other game to go ahead.

Zara Craig with 17 and Lucy Carmichael with 12 shared an opening stand of 35, but thereafter the villagers struggled against the Bready bowling unit who once again showed their all-round strength.

Wickets for Charley Scott (2-4), Steph Wilkinson (2-10), Sophie Killen (2-11) and Jemma Rankin (1-7) saw Eglinton restricted to 59 for 8.

Abbie McKnight struck four boundaries in her unbeaten 35, while Alana Dalzell made 18 before being dismissed by Alice McLaughlin with the finishing line in sight - the win achieved with five overs left.

Fox Lodge opener Sarah Black was the night's top scorer as she hit eight fours in her undefeated 71, as she and Emma Allen (26) shared an opening stand of 92 in their home game against Coleraine.

Lucy Neely (10) chipped in to a final score of 123-1 at the end of 20 overs - Kia McCartney (1-14) the successful Coleraine bowler.

Eva Gaston was once again in the runs, as she found the boundary ropes four times in her unbeaten 52, but despite her efforts, the Bannsiders finished on 102 for 8 - the wickets shared between Kara Bates (2-19), Sarah Black (2-21) and Lucy Blair (2-22).

The game between Killyclooney and Strabane was postponed following the death of Anne Bell and will be played later in the week.
