There were wins in Leinster Women's Division One for Leinster, Phoenix and Merrion.

A third wicket stand of 142 between Irish skipper Laura Delany and Sophie MacMahon was the catalyst for Leinster's 64-run win over Malahide.

MacMahon hit 11 boundaries in her top score of 88 from 59 balls, while Delany, who opened the innings, struck ten fours in a rapid 66 off 38 deliveries.

Maria O'Halloran's three wickets was the highlight of the Malahide attack, as Leinster posted 181 for 5.

Caoimhe McCann hit a run-a-ball 33, and Amy Hunter  breezy 30, but in truth the villagers were never in contention - their innings ended on 117 for 3.

Phoenix made it two wins from two as an impressive batting display set up their 28-run win against Clontarf.

Ireland's newest international Georgina Dempsey underlined her international pedigree as she shared half century stands with opener Nevedha Saravanarajan (24) and in-form Lara Maritz (40*).

Dempsey top-scored with 63 from 51 balls (6 fours, 1 six) as Phoenix made 166 for 2.

Clontarf's reply got off to the worst possible start as Maritz dismissed Christina Coulter-Reilly first ball, Aoife Brennan (55) and Isobel Joyce (30) staged a recovery with a second wicket stand of 72.

However Alison Black's 3 for 20 stalled the chase, as the Castle Avenue side fell 28 runs shy.

Merrion were 32-run winners at The Hills, thanks primarily to fine all-round displays from Rachel Delaney and Leah Paul.

Delaney top scored with an unbeaten 46 and Paul hit 42 in the Anglesea Road side's 146 for 5 - Jennifer Hanna taking 3 for 17.

Left-arm spinner Paul then choked The Hills chase taking 2 for 16, while Delaney chipped in with 1-26 as The Milverton side finished on 114 for 5 - Tess Maritz making 28
