RBAI 2ndXI shocked Campbell College recording a 21 run win in the first of the Schools' Cup semi-finals which was played today at Campbell.

When the visiting Inst. side were bowled out for 112 Campbell must have believed that their place in the final was all but assured.

Josh Eagleson top scored for Inst. with 29, while for Campbell Carson McCullough had superb figures of 3-5, three wickets also for Ethan Biggerstaff (3-33) and a couple for Hugh Minford (2-17).

When Campbell set off in pursuit of the 113 required for victory it was Nathan Toland who produced a Man of the Match performance - his 5-14 blew away the cream of the home sides batting and only Harry Dyer with 31 stood firm against the onslaught.

Connor McGrath chipped in with 2-25 and it was a 21 run margin when the final wicket fell to see Inst. 2nd XI record one of the biggest shocks in Schools' Cup history.

Today's win raises the intriguing possibility of an all Inst. Final as the School First XI meet Wallace High School at Osborne Park at 10.00 on Monday to contest the other semi-final.
