RBAI made it a clean sweep of the Schools Competitions with victory for the U15 XI in the Intermediate Cup.

If when the School First XI faced the Second XI in the Senior Schools Cup last week it was billed as unique, then today was, to coin a Del Boy Trotter phrase, 'Deja vu, all over again!'

The Final of the Intermediate Cup was a contest between RBAI U15 and RBAI U14, and as in the Senior Final there was to be no giant killing act with the U15s coming out 52 run winners.

Batting first the U15s set a formidable 35 over total of 180/9 with Harshit Kokate and George Palmer both scoring 37.

And the degree of symmetry was continued as Ben Oberholzer and Angus Carson both scored 27.

Star performer for the U14s was Alistair Watt with an exceptional five wickets for 36.

In the U14 reply it was again a case of 'anything you can do - I can match', as both Michael Hollway and George Craigan scored 20 but that would not be enough.

And it was the all-round performances of Kokate and Palmer who claimed wickets to add to their runs, Kokate taking 3-12, and Palmer 2-18.

Milo Carter also picking up a couple with 2-12 as the U14s were bowled out for 128.

So victory in all three of the Cups this year, the Senior and Junior Cups already in College Square East now joined by the Intermediate Cup in what has been a memorable season for RBAI.
