The draw has been made for the semi-finals of the NCU Women's Cup.

CSNI will take on Muckamore after they knocked out the Moylena sides second string on Tuesday night.

Chasing a modest target of 83, CSNI coasted to a seven wicket win thanks primarily to Player of the Match Rachael Thomas, who scored 30, while Sophie Thomas chipped in with 23.

There was better fortune for Muckamore's first XI as they thumped Carrickfergus by 116 runs with half centuries from Player of the Match Amy Caufield (76*) and Suzi Keates (61) helping them to an imposing 193 for 1.

Carrick were then restricted to 77 for 5, with Lois Passmore scoring 30. There was a quite sensational bowling display by Nikki Niblock who picked up three wickets without conceding a run.

Nikki Niblock (3-0) picked up remarkable figures to limit Carrick to 77-5.

In the other semi-final, Lurgan's reward for knocking out holders Waringstown is a home tie against North Down.

The matches will be played this Sunday, 8th August.
