Ireland umpire turned match referee Graham McCrea is enjoying the Spanish sunshine this week officiating at the T20 World Cup Qualifer (Europe).
The Tyrone man is at the helm overseeing the match officials in the four team tournament, where Italy, Jersey, Denmark and Germany are battling it out for two spots at the Global qualifiers next year.
After a playing career spent mostly at Killyclooney, Graham started umpiring in 2011. He quickly rose through the ranks locally and was appointed to the Interprovincial panel at the end of 2013, having passed his exams up to International level.
He is one of Ireland's two representatives on the Match Referee Panel and was able to job-shadow Jeff Crowe during 2019's internationals at Bready.
Jersey currently top the group having won all three of their six matches so far.
