All-rounder Ehtesham Ahmed is returning to play in Dublin with YMCA.

The 38 year-old played at Claremont Road for nine seasons after joining them in 2005, and following moves to Terenure, Balbriggan, Rush, Clontarf, and North West side Strabane, he is back at his spiritual home.

He has vast experience with 239 senior games in Leinster, approaching 200 senior wickets and 4000 runs.

"In my first spell with YMCA I played 9 years there and now I am very excited to be back there after ten long years," he told CricketEurope.

"I am more excited this time as I will be sharing the field and dressing room with some of them who were little kids when I left. Now a couple of them have become stars and doing so well in Irish colours and making their name around the globe.

"I am looking forward for the opportunity to work with youngsters at YM and pass on my experience to them and at the same time learn things or two from them too as we never stop learning."
