There was sad news this week with the death of Ballyspallen all-rounder Clive Rogers.
Clive was a talented sportsman, playing football locally, as well as cricket with the Bridge Park Club, who he joined as a schoolboy.

"Clive always gave 100% when representing the Club, and took some brilliant diving catches over the years, which in part could be attributed to his athletic abilities as a football goalkeeper." said the club on Facebook.
"Clive will be remembered as a gentleman who played the game hard but fair, and above all else as a family man who always played with a positive attitude and a smile on his face.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Charlene, daughter Taylor, father Billy, siblings Julie and Philip, and the entire family circle at this deeply difficult time. RIP Clive."
