Brigade
- Captain: Andy Britton
- Overseas professional: Marcello Piedt
- Players in: as above
- Players out: Ryan Macbeth, Haydn Melly
- Young players to watch: Scott Macbeth, Cameron Nawn, James Smallwoods, Mo Hussain.
It was a very good 2023 season for Brigade winning a cup double, and they came very close to the treble, losing the Premiership by just one point.
They have lost the influential Ryan Macbeth who is off to the NCU after eight seasons at Beechgrove, while Haydn Melly has moved to Ardmore.
The signing of South African professional Marcello Piedt will help offset their absence, and his new ball skills will make Brigade a formidable opponent and the team to beat once again.
“We have put a lot of work into the club on and off the field during the close season,” said club captain Andy Britton.
“The improvements are fantastic and will really add to the enjoyment for players and spectators alike.
“There is a new video scoreboard that will able to show replays, highlights and clips, as well as display adverts and screen matches.
“As well as the usual experienced core of players, some younger ones to watch include Irish Under-19 international Scott Macbeth, and we have the likes of James Smallwoods Cameron Nawn and Mo Hussain waiting in the wings for any opportunities that come their way.
“We are all looking forward to the new season and hopefully there will be more silverware making its way to the club.”
