Cregagh beat Lurgan by 20 runs
Cregagh Memorial, 1 August.
Cregagh 144/6 (20 overs: Adam McCormick 54, Nikhilesh Ravikrishnan 20; Reghard Els 2-24, Paul Stafford 2-25)
Lurgan 124/6 (20 overs: Stephen Chambers 44, Stephen Johnston 33; Adam McCormick 2-24)

Adam McCormick's half century helped Cregagh to a crucial win over league leaders Lurgan in a victory that now means just four points separate the top six teams in the most competitive league in the country.

McCormick hit 7 fours in his 38-ball 54 to take the hosts to 144 for 6 - two wickets apiece for South African professional Reghard Els and the evergreen Paul Stafford.

McCormick then turned his focus to the ball and got the prize scalp of Els who laboured for 18 balls making just 6.

Stephen Chambers (44) and Stephen Johnston (33) ensured the margin of the loss - 20 runs - didn't do too much damage to their NRR.

It's shaping up to be an exciting final conclusion to the league over the next month.
