Gareth Delany and Gavin Hoey have both adjusted well to life in Australia with the pair among the runs in recent weeks.
The Irish internationals are enjoying the flat decks in New South Wales, keeping their eyes in with Ireland in the middle of a four-month break.
Leinster all-rounder Delany is playing for Gordon's CC in the NSW Premier League, and scored a super 152 against Manly last weekend, hitting 15 fours and 2 sixes in his knock.
Unfortunately he went wicketless in his 16 overs as Manly chased down 450.
Pembroke all-rounder Gavin Hoey is also among the runs, playing a starring role with the University of New South Wales.
The recently-capped Irish international made an unbeaten 54 to help his side chase down 342 to beat North Sydney by two wickets. Those runs took Hoey to 170 runs at and average of 42.50.
He is playing alongside Australian international Dan Christian and the experience will stand him in good stead for the challenges ahead.
The pair will hope to be in Heinrich Malan's squad for the tour to Zimbabwe in the New Year.
