Clontarf have signed Australian all-rounder Patrick Xie for the 2025 campaign.
The 20-year-old came highly recommended to the Castle Avenue side by former professional Rod Hokin and comes with a stellar reputation.

He is currently playing First Grade cricket for Parramatta District in Sydney, where he also skippers their Under-21 side. He is a top-order right-hand batsman, who bowls occasional off-spin.
He averages over 30 in first-grade. helped by a recent unbeaten 160 at better than a run-a-ball.
Patrick has worn the 'Baggy Green' at Under-16 level, and have also featured for the New South Wales Under 17 and U19 sides.
The Commerce and Law student is taking his degree at Sydney University, and is taking a gap year to come to Ireland.
His signing is sure to be a major boost for Clontarf.
