Bermuda remain out in front after play resumed at the Americas sub-regional qualifier for the next men's T20 World Cup yesterday in Buenos Aires.

The latest win for the Bermudians came in their afternoon game against Mexico at the Hurlingham Club, with Mexico batting first after winning the toss. After collapsing to 35-6, there was something of a lower order rally with Pradeep Mohanarangam scoring 26 and Shoaib Rafiq an unbeaten 24.

However their eventual total of 96-9 would prove to be no challenge for Bermuda who, after losing both openers in the first over, chased down their target in 12.3 overs to win by six wickets. Onias Bascome was their top scorer with 37 from 20 balls.

Over at St Albans, hosts Argentina took on Panama, with the latter batting first after winning the toss. Only three of their batters were able to reach double figures as they were bowled out for 92. Alan Kirschbaum top scored with an unbeaten 35, sharing in a fourth wicket partnership of 53 with Alejandro Ferguson, who played with Alan's uncle Guillermo back when he made his debut at the 1994 ICC Trophy, as Argentina secured a six wicket win with 2.4 overs to spare.

Earlier in the day at Hurlingham, Cayman Islands were put into bat by Suriname and scored 142-8 from their 20 overs, Akshay Naidoo top scoring with 35. An unbeaten 57 by Xaviee Smith helped secure a six wicket win with an over to spare, Suriname's first win of the tournament.

At St Albans in the morning session, Kervon Hinds scored 53 from 42 balls as Bahamas scored 117-5 from their 20 overs against Belize after they were put in. A knock of 31 by Alexander Oxley and an unbeaten 36 by Bernan Stephenson got Belize close, but two wickets in the final over meant that Nathan Banner's last ball six was not enough and they lost by three runs.
