Clontarf have confirmed that Seamus Lynch has joined them from Terenure.
The 22 year-old has been at Terenure since 2011, playing 237 matches at all levels scoring 4087 runs at just over 21 with two hundreds.
His big hitting exploits have been shown at a higher level, most notably at the T10 European Championships with the Ireland Academy.
He has also played for Leinster Lightning and Munster Reds in recent times at interpro level.
While his move will be a big blow for Terenure, it's undoubtedly given Clontarf a boost.
"We are delighted that Seamus is joining Clontarf for 2025," Head Coach Andrew Poynter told CricketEurope.
"He is an exciting player that packs a punch. As we have seen in the European Cricket League.
"Also happy to confirm that Patrick Xie is joining as our overseas professional. Patrick hails from Sydney and is enjoying a good start to the season at Parramatta CC. He comes highly recommended from Clontarf CC legend Rod Hokin."
