Muckamore have confirmed the signing of South African Neil Brand as their overseas professional for the 2026 campaign.

The 29 year-old was a revelation in his short spell at both Muckamore and Templepatrick this year, scoring 458 runs at 91.60 in just five appearances at Moylena, and also hit 174 runs in two appearances at The Cloghan.

"Having represented and captained South Africa in a Test Match against New Zealand in 2024, Titans, Northerns, and recently featuring for South Africa A, Neil’s cricketing pedigree speaks for itself," said Muckamore in a statement on their FB page.

"We have no doubt he will be a massive asset both on and off the field. His leadership, professionalism, and all-round ability will play a key role in helping us build towards a successful 2026 campaign."
