Jersey have won Division 2 of the European Under-19 Championship after easily beating Denmark today at Mistley Cricket Ground.

Batting first after winning the toss, Denmark were unable to put any sort of significant partnership together, with Jonas Henriksen's 22 the top score of their innings. They were bowled out for 115, with James Duckett, Elliot Miles and Robert Duckett all taking three wickets.

Jersey had no trouble chasing down that target, doing so in just 21.1 overs for the loss of two wickets. Jonty Jenner had a rare failure, only scoring 3, and Benjamin Ward was their top scorer with an unbeaten 55.

Jersey therefore have gone through the tournament unbeaten and are promoted in first place along with the Netherlands. They will now join Ireland and Scotland in Division One at some point next year.
