NCU Under 15s (CricketEurope)
The NCU started their Under 15 campaign with a 44-run win over hosts North West at Beechgrove. Batting first the Junior Knights got off to a strong start as CIYMS batter Aadi Mani hit four boundaries in his 52 - sharing stands of 51 for the second wicket with Seb Yeates and 42 for the third with skipper James West, both of whom made 37. There were runs too for talented Holywood youngster Lucas McKeown (30), but from 120 for 2, they faltered to 195 all out. There were three wickets for Lewis Campbell and two apiece for Swarnim Jha and Bobby Brolly. James Smallwoods top-scored for the hosts with 33, but they fell 44 short with the spin duo of James West (4-28) and Instonians' Ben Walsh (3-40) doing the bulk of the damage.
