Josh Little and Harry Tector are set to battle it out for the Ireland Men's International Player of the Year on Friday night.

Both have enjoyed a stellar year since the awards last February, and it will be hard to split the two to see who will pick up the accolade.

Tector is the leading run scorer with 891 runs at 35.64, which included three centuries as well as three fifties.

In the bowling, Little was the stand-out performer taking 47 wickets at 21 apiece, form which has earned him an IPL contract as well as deals in South Africa, Pakistan and England.

The international awards are voted for by the players themselves on a points system collated after matches.
