The rain that caused yesterdays Abu Dhabi Women's Quadrangular series games to be abandoned continues to impact on the series with flooding in the area causing today's games to be abandoned several hours before the start of play.

Images have been shared on social media of cars almost entirely submerged by flooding after the unprecedented levels of rain.

Hosts UAE were set to play USA today, with Scotland due to take on the Netherlands. The next scheduled games are on Friday with Netherlands playing USA and Scotland taking on the hosts. Given that all four teams need valuable match practice ahead of the upcoming global qualifier, there may yet be changes to the schedule.
