Oman beat Netherlands by 1 run
Al Amerat, Oman, 11 November.
Oman 155 (44.2 overs: J Singh 59, A Odedra 41, J Odedra 20*; C Ackerman 4-22, R vd Merwe 3-30, K Klein 2-24)
Netherlands 154 (45.3 overs: T Nidamanuru 34; A Kaleem 4-24, S Ahmad 2-15, S Bukkapatnam 2-19)
Omani celebrations, Dutch despair (ICC)
Oman's openers Jatinder Singh and Ashish Odedra added 94 before a dramatic collapse against the spinners cost 9 wickets for just 31 with a precious 30 added for the final wicket by Jay Odedra and Muzahir Raza. In the chase, the Oranje slumped to 70 for six against the Omani spinners before Tija Nidamanuru steadied the situation with 34. When he was dismissed with the score at 130 for nine, it looked to be all over, but the final partnership of Kyle Klein and Aryan Dutt took them within 2 runs of victory before Dutt was caught going for glory, failing to clear long-on.
Netherlands beat UAE by 67 runs
Al Amerat, Oman, 9 November.
Netherlands 241/8 (50 overs: M O'Dowd 69, V Singh 66, N Croes 24, C Ackerman 21; J Siddique 3-31, A Naseer 2-19)
UAE 174 (45.2 overs: A Naseer 45, R Chopra 43, T Suri 26; R vd Merwe 3-14, A Dutt 3-26, R Klein 3-47)
Max O'Dowd and Vikram Singh's opening partnership was worth 140 (CricketEurope)
On opening partnership of 140 by Max O'Dowd and Vikram Singh enabled the Oranje to post a total that they would be confident of defending. Only a single wicket for the spinners today as seamers Junaid Siddique claimed three and Ali Naseer two. UAE not able to get any momentum in the chase, 85/5 at the halfway stage with Rahul Chopra trying to hold things together but even then it looked like a lost cause. Ali Naseer with some late defiance but a comfortable win for the Dutch who finish this round of fixtures against Oman on Monday.
Oman beat UAE by 4 wickets
Al Amerat, Oman, 7 November.
UAE 78 (25.3 overs: A Naseer 21; S Ahmad 5-23, J Odedra 2-5)
Oman 79/6 (24.1 overs: A Kaleem 32, H Mirza 20; B Hameed 3-17, Aayan Khan 2-21)
Oman's bowlers won the day for the hosts (EmiratesCricket)
'Win the Toss, Win the match' seems to be the case in this series with the sides batting first struggling to post a defendable total on spinning pitches. No change today as Omani left arm spinner Shakeel Ahmad wreaked havok in the UAE top order with a five-for and off spinner Jay Odedra picking up a brace. The chase started badly for Oman who slumped to 12/3 off 8!! But Aamir Kaleem and Hammad Mirza steadied the ship with a partnership worth 56. Basil Hameed took three quick wickets but with less than 10 required it proved to be too little, too late.
Oman beat Netherlands by 8 wickets
Al Amerat, Oman, 5 November.
Netherlands 132 (40.2 overs: B de Leede 51, N Croes 29; S Ahmad 4-26, A Kaleem 2-27)
Oman 133/2 (34.1 overs: J Singh 58, J Odedara 27, W Ali 24*)
Bas De Leede scored a half century in a losing cause. (CricketEurope)
A real struggle for the Netherlands asked to bat first. They battled to 86/4 after 25 overs but after Bas de Leede’s departure the long tail produced little as the two left arm spinners Shakeel Ahmad and Aamir Kaleem claimed six wickets between them. Omani openers captain Jatinder Singh and Ashish Odedara coped with the three Dutch spinners with relative ease, took no chances and added 81 for the first wicket. Fifty and out for Singh but with less than twenty runs required the game was won by that stage.
Nepal v Scotland - no result
Dallas, 4 November.
Nepal 26/1 (6 overs)
Scotland (Rain interrupted - reduced to 43 overs/side)
A gloomy scene in Dallas as rain held up play (CricketScotland)
A delayed start after Scotland elected to field and a further delay after just one over. Just about 2 hours lost before play resumes and we now have a 43 over game. But after another five overs covers on again it's 'bad light', 'lightning warning', 'rain' - take your pick, and the game is finally abandoned.
USA beat Nepal by 37 runs
Dallas, 2 November.
USA 281/8 (50 overs: S Mukkamalla 75, M Patel 67, H Singh 59, A Jones 26; G Jha 3-87, S Lamichhane 2-48, S Kami 2-50)
Nepal 244 (49.5 overs: A Sah 52, S Kami 46, K Mala 33, DS Airee 31, K Bhurtel 29, Aarif Shiekh 21; S Netravalkar 4-47, N Kenjige 2-33, S van Schalkwyk 2-52)
USA posted an impressive total after being asked to bat by Nepal with runs all down the order. Harmeet Singh last out to the final ball of the innings after taking 16 off Gulsan Jha's over. Nepal were unable to make great headway in the chase, only 99/2 at the half way stage needing twice as many again in the second 25. An impossible task, although in the end a smaller margin of victory for USA than looked likely for most of the game as Nepal survived into the 50th over.
UAE beat the Netherlands by 26 runs
Al Amerat, Oman, 3 November.
UAE 240/8 (50 overs: R Chopra 78, D Parashar 50*, T Suri 25; R van der Merwe 2-29, P van Meekeren 2-59)
Netherlands 214 (47.3 overs: B de Leede 66, S Edwards 51, T van der Gugten 22*; A Naseer 4-26, J Siddique 3-35)
UAE players celebrate their victory (Emirates Cricket)
Bottom of the table UAE had the Netherlands in difficulty after posting 240, skipper Rahul Chopra top scoring with 78. Ali Naseer with two wickets as Netherlands made slow progress, 66/3 after 20 overs. Skipper Scott Edwards and Bas de Leede added exactly 100 together for the fourth wicket but when both departed seamers Naseer and Siddique wrapped things up to give UAE only their second win in the league.
Oman beat UAE by 6 wickets
Al Amerat, Oman, 1 November.
UAE 128 (41.3 overs: Muhammad Waseem 44, V Aravind 28; S Shrivastav 4-25, Shakeel Ahmed 2-22)
Oman 129-4 (43.4 overs: A Odedara 54, Hammad Mirza 28; D Parashar 2-16)
USA lost to Scotland by 71 runs
Dallas, 31 October.
Scotland 317/5 (50 overs: B McMullen 151, C Tear 51, M Laesk 33*, R Berrington 26; S Netravalkar 2-69, J Singh 2-85)
USA 246 (44 overs: U Srivastava 67, M Patel 52, S Krishnamurthi 49, S Modani 25; J Jarvis 4-40, B Currie 2-45, M Watt 2-48)
Brandon McMullen dominated proceedings as the Scots piled up the runs against a lacklustre USA attack. McMullen added 104 with Charlie Tear and 80 with Richie Berrington in his innings containing 11x4s & 6x6s. A big chase but USA certainly gave it a go, first through skipper Monak Patel and then ODI debutant Utkarsh Srivastrava. In the end scoreboard pressure told as Scotland kept chipping away at the wickets to run out relatively comfortable winners.
Nepal beat Scotland by 5 wickets
Dallas, 29 October.
Scotland 154 (41.4 overs: M Watt 34; S Lamichhane 3-45, Karan KC 2-26, S Kami 2-32, G Jha 2-33)
Nepal 157/5 (29.5 overs: Aarif Sheikh 51*, G Jha 25*, K Bhurtel 25, Aasif Sheikh 21; B McMullan 2-41)
Scotland slumped to 75/5 after being put in to bat and it took a few blows from Mark Watt who hit three sixes to get them to 150 and keep them in the game - just about. Tight start by Scotland's bowlers - not a straightforward chase for Nepal 70/4 at the first drinks break. Fifth wicket falls at 100, overs not an issue and a couple of little partnerships eases any pressure, Aarif Shiekh completing his half century with the winning boundary. Only Nepal's second win in the League and a third defeat for the Scots.
USA beat Nepal by 3 wickets
Dallas, 27 October.
Nepal 286 (50 overs: R Paudel 96, A Sah 56, Aasif Sheikh 52, Aarif Sheik 37; N Kenjige 4-52, S Netravalkar 2-63)
USA 291/7 (49.4 overs: S Jahangir 104, M Patel 62, H Singh 57, S van Shalkwyk 29*; K Bhurtel 4-23, S Kami 2-37)
A six off the fourth ball of the final over saw USA claim a dramatic win, chasing down a Nepali total that featured an opening partnership of 98 between Anil Sah and Aasif Sheikh, plus 96 from skipper Rohit Paudel. In the chase, Shayan Jahangir and Monak Patel added 161 for the second wicket after the loss of Gous for just a single, with Jahangir going on to post a century. A middle-order wobble with wickets tumbling to Kushal Bhurtel left the visitors needing 17 off the final two overs, and the scene set for van Shalkwyk's knockout blow.
USA lost to Scotland by 10 wickets
Dallas, 25 October.
USA 144 (38.4 overs: S van Shalkwyk 58, H Singh 22, N Kenjige 21; B Currie 4-32, B McMullan 3-20, B Wheal 2-15)
Scotland 145/0 (24.5 overs: A Umeed 98*, C Tear 43*)
Opting to bowl first Scotland's seamers had a field day as they blasted out half the home side for just 21. Some late order resistance from former Armagh professional Shadley van Shalkwyk held up the Scots doubling the score adding 71 for the ninth wicket with Nosthush Kenjige. If the Scottish bowling was impressive, the batting was even more so, total domination by Scottish openers Andy Umeed and Charlie Tear who raced to the win inside 25 overs. The defeat or rather 'player power' costs Stuart Law his job after 6 months - USA cricket never disappoints.
