Nepal have been finding wins few and far between in this incarnation of CWC League 2, with only one win in their first nine matches prior to today, including a defeat by a USA side in turmoil the other day.
However, they recorded their second win yesterday in Texas with a five wicket win over a Scotland side that had demolished the USA four days prior.
Put into bat, Scotland's innings started with Charlie Tear getting bowled for a duck by Karan KC in the first over, and it never really took off from there, with wickets falling at regular intervals.
Seven members of the batting order were able to reach double figures, but only Mark Watt with 34 made a contribution of note as they were bowled out for 154. Sandeep Lamichhane was the pick of the Nepali bowlers with 3-45.

Nepal lost five wickets in reply but found runs a little easier to come by than their opponents did. An unbeaten 51 by Aarif Sheikh - who added an unbroken 57 for the sixth wicket with Gulshan Jha - helped secure a five wicket win with 20.1 overs to spare.
Scotland are next in action on Thursday when they take on hosts USA, with Nepal taking on the Americans on Saturday.
