Lewis Campbell and Charlie Downey have been included in the Ireland U19 Men's Winter training squad.

The duo are part of four players from the North West in the squad of 22. The others are Bonds Glen's Sam Haslett and Bready's Freddie Ogilby - son of former Irish international Stephen, who is based in Cheshire.

There is also one other England based player in the line-up - Tom Ford, who played last year for Ireland Under 17s.

Leinster players make up the bulk of the squad, with no fewer than 12 players. Pembroke have three representatives in Dan Murray, Bruce Whaley, and Olly Riley.

Railway Union duo Peter Le Roux and Robert O'Brien are there along with two from Clontarf - Ethan Marshall and Reuben Marshall.

The other Leinster reps are Brian Dunphy (North County), Seb Dijkstra (Merrion), Febin Manoj (The Hills), Lorcan Craik (Balbriggan) and Terenure run machine Gethin Kelleher.

CSNI provide three of the five NCU representatives, in Adam Leckey, James West and Seb Yeates, along with Holywood's Lucas McKeown and CIYMS new signing Alex Armstrong.

The squad will be starting preparation for the 2026 U19 World Cup which is being jointly held in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Ireland are one of the sides that have gained automatic qualification for the tournament thanks to their performances in the tournament earlier this year in South Africa.
