Namibia will leave the first African Games men's cricket tournament with silver medals after a defeat in yesterday's final against Zimbabwe.
Nambia captain Malan Kruger won the toss and chose to bat first, but his team found runs difficult to come by, scoring only 113-7 from their 20 overs. Dylan Leicher top scored with 29.
Zimbabwe had little trouble chasing down their target, doing so in 14.5 overs to win by 8 wickets. Tadiwanashe Marumani top scored with 58 from 40 balls to help his team secure gold.
Earlier in the bronze medal match, Uganda thrashed rivals Kenya, scoring 206-6 before restricting their opponents to 100-9, winning by 106 runs.
