Qatar 21-2 (5 overs) (Rain interrupted - Match reduced to 40 overs - Qatar target 137 in 40 overs.)
'Smash and Grab' in progress at Farmers as Qatar reduced PNG to 55-6. The predicted rain arrived to halt the action But back in action for the time being with Qatar hoping to run through the remaining batting in quick time. Peter Karoho and Damien Ravu held them up with a partnership of 75, but once it was broken the final four wickets fell in just three overs. Hard to get any details from ICC but it looks like it's going to be a 40 over second innings. PNG get five overs in before they're off again for the last time.
Kenya v Kuwait - no result.
Grainville, 30 August.
Kuwait 85-4 (19 overs; M Amin 21*, A Zaheer 20*; R Sandaruwan 23; L Ndandason 2-29)

Kuwait 166-3 (39.3 overs; M Bhavsar 68*, A Zaheer 67*; D Khan 2-46)
Denmark bowled out in just over 35 overs - and they have their number 10 Delawar Khan to thank for some sort of total, his 36* came off 20 balls, 2x4, 3x6. Five wickets for Nitish Lathief - he of the Sunil Narine lookalike action, as the Danes struggled to make headway against the Kuwaiti spinners. Early wickets for the Danes but Meet Bhavsay and Ali Zaheer added 122 in an unbroken fourth wicket partnership to claim the win.

A hero's welcome for Asa Tribe (ICC)
Asa Tribe freed from duty with Glamorgan back into the side and do Jersey need him today wickets tumbling around him! Two wickets fall with him on 99*. Last man George Richardson survives two balls and Tribe completes his century next over. Tribe turning down singles to farm the strike. 150 for Tribe and the Fifty partnership with Richardson on 0!! Simply magnificent hitting as the 49th goes 4,4,6,6,4, and the single to face the last over. He's caught first ball on the long-off boundary - a 10th wicket partnership of 78 - Tribe 78, Richardson 0. In their reply PNG sank to 11-4, two wickets each for Carlyon and Sumerauer and there was no way back despite resistance from Vagi Guba and Damien Ravu. 'Spin to Win' they say and today it was two wickets for each of the Jersey spin quartet, Greenwood, Blampied, Richardson and Carlyon.

Josh Lawrenson and Nick Greenwood's partnership was worth 214 (JCB)
The Jersey Boys put in a performance worthy of their namesakes to entertain a large Bank-Holiday crowd at a sun drenched Granville. A 214 second wicket partnership between Nick Greenwood and Josh Lawrenson the highlight of an innings that also saw Zac Tribe and Jonty Jenner pepper the crowd on the bank with late runs. Solid start from the Danes 87-1 at the first drinks break but the required rate is already over 9 per over. 'Nelson' claims two wickets - a double strike in the 25th over by Nick Greenwood - Musa Shaheen lbw missing a reverse sweep and Saif Ahmad caught second ball. In the end scoreboard pressure inevitably gifted wickets to the spinners and the hosts ran out comfortable winners.

Jersey tied with Kuwait
Farmers, 23 August.
Kuwait 223-9 (50 overs; M Bhavsar 53, Y Patel 36*, A Zaheer 29, U Patel 25, M Amin 23; J Lawrenson 3-27, G Richardson 2-30)
Jersey 223-8 (50 overs; H Carlyon 77, J Lawrenson 44, Z Tribe 44*, J Sumerauer 28; M Shafeeq 3-29, S Khan 2-50)
A late flurry of runs from Yasin Patel and Shiraz Khan who added fifty for the eighth wicket has left the hosts chasing a rather bigger total than looked likely for most of the Kuwaiti innings. Josh Lawrenson again in the wickets adding three today to the four he claimed versus Kenya. Harrison Carlyon and Josh Lawrensen added 124 but both out within an over of each other. Jonty Jenner and Zac Tribe start the rebuilding job but Jenner drags on for only 6. Middle order wobble. Less than 20 needed but Sumerauer and Blampied both gone Five overs and 3 wickets left with 18 needed. Two needed off the final over and Dunford gives it the charge and slaps a catch to short mid wicket off the first! Dot to Chuggy and a single, 2 dots to Zac, one ball left scores tied! Hit hard to mid on and Tribe can't beat the fielder to the stumps - a tie!! You wonder whether trying to hit a boundary cost Jersey the win - hittting hard at the ball when 'tip and run' might have been the answer.
Denmark beat Papua New Guinea by 18 runs.
Grainville, 22 August.
Denmark 223-8 (50 overs; L Ali 83, H Shah 59, D Khan 21*; A Nao 3-36, M Charlie 2-43)
Papua New Guinea 205 (48.2 overs; K Doriga 68, P Nou 40, S Bau 34, D Ravu 25*; S Anand 3-36, S Zeb 2-25)
Danish skipper Hamid Shah leading the way with a half century after they elected to bat first and his good work carried on by Lucky Ali. Not much else forthcoming for the Danes as wickets fell, Alei Nao claiming three, Michael Charlie two with one each for Sese Bau and John Kariko. Shakeel Zeb with the big wickets of Sese Bau and Assad Vala as PNG struggle to make headway in the chase, 79-4 at the halfway stage with 145 more needed. Kipling Doriga and Patrick Nou add 85 of those to keep PNG hopes alive before Nou chips tamely to mid off. 40 required off the final 5 overs but just 3 wickets in hand. Singles not enough and a couple of catches in the deep off Surya Anand sees the Barramundis fall 19 runs short.
Kuwait beat Qatar by 22 runs.
Grainville, 21 August.
Kuwait 299-7 (50 overs; M Bhavsar 129, A Zaheer 99; M Murad 2-57)
Qatar 277-9 (50 overs; M Asim 94, M Tanveer 61, I Liyanage 54; M Shafeeq 3-47, A Chenthamara 2-52)
Good call by the umpire sees Mohammad Amin run out first ball (ICC.tv)
A massive 181 run fourth wicket partnership between Ali Zaheer and Meet Bhavsar ended when Zaheer skied Maria-Louis to mid off on 99. Theirs the only two scores past 20 in the innings - but 300 a huge ask for Qatar who had their own fourth wicket stand of 95 between Muhammad Asim and Muhammad Tanvir. Still in there fighting with ten overs to go and 70 required but Asim out for 94 sets back their cause in a big way and eight an over for the last six was too big a task for the tail. Qatar were never ahead in the chase but a couple more overs of the Tanveer / Asim partnership might have made all the difference.
Jersey beat Kenya by 7 wickets.
Farmers, 21 August.
Kenya 115 (36.1 overs; R Patel 34, S Bhudia 30; J Lawrenson 4-25, N Greenwood 3-20, C Perchard 2-23)
Jersey 116-3 (23.5 overs; Z Tribe 56*, J Jenner 45*; N Odhiambo 3-18)
Peter Langat is bowled by Josh Lawrenson (ICC.tv)
The Jersey Boys keeping the once mighty Kenya under strict control in the opening overs, captain Charles Perchard with the breakthrough in his first over. A real struggle for Kenya, off-spinner Josh Lawrenson removing the middle order and Nick Greenwood picking up the rest. Jersey lose a wicket in the first over of the chase, a loose waft outside off sees Greenwood drag his first delivery back onto the stumps and Lawrenson follows also without scoring and Carlyon survives a simple drop at extra cover, a nervy start from the hosts! And no third life for Carlyon as he chips tamely to mid on - three for Nelson Odhiambo. A half century partnership between Zac Tribe and Jonty Jenner steadied the ship and they made it a century with the winning run.

Papua New Guinea 262/9 (49.3 overs: S Bau 74, A Vala 63, H Hiri 29, K Doriga 28; V Patel 2-36, L Oluoch 2-36, P Sharma 2-38)
Kuwait lost to Papua New Guinea by 8 wickets
Ruaraka, Nairobi, 4 October.
Kuwait 65 (22.1 overs: Mohammed Aslam 23; Aleo Nao 4-17, Kabua Morea 4-21, Nosaina Pokana 2-21)
Papua New Guinea 66/2 (10 overs: Sese Bau 32)
A big blow to Kuwaiti hopes as they crumbled to 13/6 after being asked to bat by PNG. No way back from there although late order double figures from Shiraz Khan and Bilal Tahir plus those from top-scorer Aslam enabled them to scramble to 65. With Sese Bau leading the charge with 32 off 26 (7x4) PNG ended Kuwait's misery in double quick time, two boundaries from Charles Amini off the final two balls of the initial Powerplay claiming the win.
Kenya beat Qatar by 3 wickets
Gymkhana, Nairobi, 4 October.
Qatar 162 (48.2 overs: Muhammad Ikramullah 42, Amir Farooq 36, Assad Borham 23; Gerard Mwenda 3-24, Sachin Gill 3-36, Vraj Patel 2-30)
Kenya 1667 (35.4 overs: Rushab Patel 63*, Pushkar Sharma 35; Mohammed Nadeem 3-44, Amir Farooq 2-27)
A win for hosts Kenya in this basement battle sees Qatar winless after completing their fixtures. Qatar’s last three wickets doubled the score setting Kenya a below par 163 for victory, an unbeaten 63 from Rushab Patel steering them to the win
Jersey beat Denmark by 52 runs
Ruaraka, Nairobi, 5 October.
Jersey 283/8 (50 overs: J Lawrenson 91, Z Tribe 65*, H Carlyon 59, A Tribe 43; O Hald 2-39, J Hendrickson 2-52)
Denmark 231 (44.1 overs: H Shah 54, N Laegsgaard 32, S Ahmad 24, O Hald 22*, Z Khan 22; J Lawrenson 3-45, A Tribe 2-51)
Kenya lost to Kuwait by 97 runs
Ruaraka, Nairobi, 2 October.
Kuwait 312/8 (50 overs: Ravija Sandaruwan 67, Mohammad Amin 46, Nimish Lathief 43*, Ali Zaheer 36, Yasin Patel 33, Sayed Monib 32*; Lucas Oluoch 2-38, Vraj Patel 2-39, Gerard Mwendwa 2-51)
Kenya 215 (41.2 overs: Pushkar Sharma 50, Sachin Gill 44, Lucas Oluoch 30, Rakep Patel 23; Mohammed Aslam 3-37, Sayed Monib 3-44, Mohamed Shafeeq 2-28, Yasin Patel 2-66)
Runs all down the order for Kuwait as they bounced back from yesterday's batting failure against Jersey. Hosts Kenya no doubt disappointed that they could not wrap things up when they had 8 down for 238, allowing Lathief and Monib to add an unbeaten 74 for the ninth wicket. And those late runs proved to be secret of Kuwait's success as the hosts chase never threatened to get up to the required scoring rate. Kuwait join Jersey at the top of the points table but with a much inferior NRR to that of the Channel Islanders.
Denmark beat Qatar by 3 wickets
Gymkhana, Nairobi, 2 October.
Qatar 250 (49.2 overs: Muhammad Ikramullah 71, Tamoor Sajjad 58, Imal Liyanage 40, Muhammad Tanveer 27; Saif Ahmad 5-38, Surya Anand 2-19, Delawar Khan 2-48)
Denmark 256/7 (48.3 overs: Saif Ahmad 76, Surya Anand 44, Shangeev Thanikaithasan 31*, Delawar Khan 29*, Abdul Hashmi 26, Hamid Shah 20; Muhammad Ikramullah 2-32, Muhammad Jabir 2-42, Tamoor Sajjad 2-44)
Denmark claimed five wickets in the final five overs of the Qatar innings ruling out any late surge in a steady but unspectacular batting display. A five-for from Saif Ahmad who took his final two with the first and second deliveries of the final over. And it is Ahmad leading the Danish reply with an unbeaten half-century. He'll be the MOM if Denmark get the 74 they need off the final 10 overs. Ahmad stumped as the asking rate climbs and Hald run out as Thanikaithasan looks to be the hero retaining the strike. An over of long hops from Sajjad that goes for 10 keeps Denmark in it - 22 required of 18. Fifteen of them come from the 48th over and it looks like we will be saying 'a well paced chase'. Only 3 balls of the 49th required - Single, Four, Wide, SIX! Dalawar Khan finishing things in the grand manner - 29* off just 11 balls. In truth the final 21 balls from Qatar were shocking conceding 38 runs throwing away a good chance to claim the win.
Qatar lost to Papua New Guinea by 7 wickets
Ruaraka, Nairobi, 1 October.
Qatar 298/8 (50 overs: Kamran Khan 94, Muhammad Tanveer 68, Tamoor Sajjad 47, Imal Liyanage 21; Sese Bau 2-43, Kabua Morea 2-49, Michael Charlie 2-70)
Papua New Guinea 299/3 (41.4 overs: Assad Vala 129*, Tony Ura 111, Hiri Hiri 42*)
Winless Qatar would have been delighted to be knocking on the door of a 300 total, but familiar faces for PNG, Tony Ura and Assad Valla took their side past 200 in a spectacular partnership worth 177 before Ura was run out off the final delivery of the thirtieth over. No stopping Assad Vala though as he powered on to an unbeaten 129 in an unbroken fourth wicket partnership of 91 with Hiri Hiri.
Jersey beat Kuwait by 123 runs
Gymkhana, Nairobi, 1 October.
Jersey 219 (49.1 overs: Zac Tribe 57, Asa Tribe 53, Jake Dunford 24*; Yasin Patel 3-16, Meet Bhavsar 3-38, Mohamed Shafeeq 2-31)
Kuwait 96 (27 overs: Josh Lawrenson 5-29, Harrison Carlyon 3-16, Julius Sumerauer 2-29)
A big win for the Jersey Boys over previously unbeaten Kuwait and a big boost to their already impressive NRR. A 101 run partnership for the third wicket between the Tribe brothers the basis of what looked like a vulnerable total of 219. The Kuwait reply in trouble from the off against the pace of Julius Sumerauer and the off-spin of Harrison Carlyon, who between them reduced their opponents to 23/5. No way back for the Kuwaitis as Josh Lawrenson then ran through what was left of their batting to claim a five-for in a one-sided contest.
Denmark beat Kenya by 4 wickets
Gymkhana, Nairobi, 29 September.
Kenya 268/6 (50 overs: Rakep Patel 85*, Pushkar Sharma 60, Sachin Bhudia 54, Irfan Karim 31)

Max O'Dowd: The evolution to a process driven approach
Max O'Dowd is an opening batsman for the Netherlands who has quietly gone about fashioning a strong record across all three formats. He grabbed the headlines earlier this year when he guided the Dutch home in a monstrous chase of 370 against Scotland in an ODI in Dundee. Opening the innings, he made an unbeaten 158 from just 130 balls to take his team to victory with four balls remaining and four wickets in hand.
