Lisburn won the Under-13 Banoge Cup beating hosts CIYMS at Belmont by 16 runs in an exciting game. Skipper Callum Rowe was the star of the show for Lisburn with his 26-ball 50 (8 fours, 1 six) leading the Wallace Park side to a total of 114 in 18 overs, with Jamie Simpson making a valuable unbeaten 18.The CIYMS bowling unit did well with three wickets apiece for Hannes Beeslaar, Bryn Heasley and Elliot Burns. Benny Cooper top scored with 30 in the chase, while there were also runs for Hannes Beeslar (20) and Karsten Close (14) but CIYMS finished just short on 98 for 8. Lisburn's attack did well to keep the brakes on, with two wickets each for Harry Parr, Callum Lowe, and Evan Gawley. The scorecard contains many familiar names in NCU cricket, and it's great to see that generational love of the game.
