It's been a relatively eventful close season down at Eglinton with a number of players in and out, as well as a new skipper at the helm.
Replacing overseas professional Mike Erlank is Sri Lankan overseas player Lahiru Dilshan who has played a couple of seasons for Workington Cricket Club in the North Lancashire league.
The 24 year-old is a middle-order right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler who has a top score of 139 in first-class cricket.
Liam Doherty returns for his second season, and will be expected to hit the ground running with a successful first year behind him.
The club have a number of young players worth keeping an eye on including Robert McFarland , Robbie Millar, Josh Martin and Dylan Young plus quite a few others hovering in the wings.
"We are all quietly confident about the year ahead," said a club spokesperson. "Obviously a lot will depend on Lahiru hitting the ground running, with big help from Liam, new skipper Jamie Millar, Mark Averill, Mattie Mills and Andy Millar."
