Denmark's tour of Austria for three women's T20Is ended yesterday in a 2-1 series win for the hosts.

In the opening contest on Saturday, the home side batted first after winning the toss. After losing Harjivan Bhullar for a duck in the first over, Priya Sabu and Andrea-Mae Zepda added 64 for the second wicket before the latter was out for 23. Sabu went on to score 44 before she was out. There was only one more score in double figures though as Austria made 117-8 from their 20 overs with Line Ostergaard taking 4-10.

Ostergaard then scored 33 in the Danish reply, though she was outscored by the 39 extras conceded by Austria. Tina Erichsen's 21 was the only other score in double figures as Denmark were bowled out for 103, losing by 14 runs. Andrea-Mae Zapeda took 4-16, including a hat-trick.

Austria again won the toss and chose to bat first in the second game, also on Saturday, this time scoring 131-9 with Andrea-Mae Zapeda's 29 their top score. Camilla Ostergaard was the pick of the Danish bowlers with 3-27. Denmark batted out their 20 overs in reply, with Line Ostergaard scoring 42, but fell short of their target, scoring 115-5 and losing by 16 runs.

In the final game on Sunday, Austria again batted first, this time put in by the visiting team. Andrea-Mae Zapeda was in the runs again, scoring 45. A total of 34 extras were conceded by Denmark as Austria scored 127-8. Line Ostergaard then scored an unbeaten 49 as Denmark chased down their target with 11 balls to spare to win by six wickets and secure a consolation win in the series.
