DONEMANA REACH LEAGUE ONE SEMI-FINAL
Holders Donemana were the only one of the four Tyrone sides to make it through to the semi-finals of the League One cup at the weekend. They were made to battle though before winning at Eglinton with Dwayne McGerrigle and Adam Britton among the wickets. Joe Robinson (46) and Graham Boyd (25) helped them chase 140 to win by 3 wickets.
They will host Brigade who ousted Sion Mills by 134 runs at Beechgrove. James Smallwoods and Mo Hussain made half centuries as the home side scored 278, while Ewan Wilson took four wickets in Sion’s 144.
Fox Lodge were steamrolled by Letterkenny as they were bundled out for just 52, with three wickets for Rammohan Goud. The Donegal side had little trouble chasing the modest target, losing just one wicket as Riyaz Bablu hit an unbeaten 28.
Bready also fell by the wayside, losing by 21 runs at home to Ardmore in a high-scoring game. Kyle Martin top-scored with 93, sharing a century opening stand with Bobby Brolly (36) as the Bleachgreen side posted 258 – four wickets for Jamie Mutch.
Ben Campbell (75) and Robert Spence (64) both scored half centuries, while Colin Spence offered late hope with an unbeaten 35, but the Magheramason side ran out of overs when 19 short. Ardmore will play away to Letterkenny in the semi-final at Drummond on Saturday July 6th.
