Atish Varape made 54 in the reply, while Shane Warren also made 43, but they still finished 100 adrift. Darwish Nazari claimed 4 for 21, while the experienced duo of Paul Stafford (3-29) and Peter Maxwell (2-40) were also in the wickets.

Earlier there were half centuries for Mohammed Choudhary (67) and Jaydee Oliver (62), and nearly one for Hamza Hussain (49).

An unbroken 3rd wicket stand of 252 between Glen Adams and John Glass was the catalyst for Ballymena's whopping 166-run win at home to Laurelvale. South African overseas player Adams hit 14 fours and 6 sixes in his unbeaten 155, while Glass just missed out on his century, ending 98 not out from 90 balls (11 fours, 2 sixes) as the Eaton Park side racked up 324 for 2. Adams and Glass then took a combined seven wickets in the reply, with only Michael Burns (57*) and Adam Speers offering any resistance.
