Orla Prendergast's brilliant all-round effort ensured the Dragons began their double quest with a comfortable five wickets win against the Typhoons at North County. 

Prendergast's new-ball burst had the Typhoons in real strife at 45 for 5, and although they rallied somewhat to reach 133, it was never going to be enough. 

The Irish international then top-scored with an unbeaten 37 (4 fours), as the Dragons top five all got double figures, including 30 for Elise Noble. 

The Dragons meet the Scorchers in the next game in the series at Bready on Sunday.
