The Red Caps posted 132 for 8 with Aaron Gillespie making 42 and Nasir Nawaz 32. Ben Mills took three wickets - including trapping John Mooney lbw first ball - while there were two wickets apiece for Trevor Britton and Alan Johnson. The Nedd came within one blow of their first win of the season, but they had the consolation of picking up their first points of the season in a five-run DLS loss against Ballyspallen in the Ballykelly derby. Tevyn Walcott hit 11 fours and 5 sixes in his 111, sharing stand of 75 for the second wicket with Kyle Morrow (36) and 95 for the third with James Cusack (41) in a 'Spallen total of 257 for 7 - three wickets for Reuben Logan-Wilson (3-28). The Nedd's reply saw them spluttering on 22 for 3, but a fourth wicket stand of 152 between Neil Stewart and Richard Wylie got them all so close to their adjusted target of 188 in 24 overs. Stewart cleared the fence 8 times as well as hitting 6 fours in his 56-ball unbeaten 89, while 'Fish' made a 51-ball 60 (9 fours, 2 sixes) in an entertaining contest.

Fox Lodge reignited their promotion hopes with a 5-wicket derby win over Burndennett. Niall McDonnell's run-a-ball 57 (5 fours, 4 sixes) and a quickfire 33 from Andy Barr helped Burndennett to 183 - three wickets apiece for Jason Milligan and Gayan Maneeshan, plus two for Levi Kerr. Jamie McIntyre (50) and Maneeshan (63) both made half centuries in the chase, sharing a second wicket stand of 70 as the Foxies moved to third in the table as they eased to a 5-wicket win.

Bonds Glen put a dent in St Johnston's title aspirations with a 7-wicket win despite the best efforts of Graeme McCarter. The former Irish international hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in an unbeaten 53 as the Donegal side recovered from 94 for 7 with an unbroken 8th wicket stand of 59 between 'Gmac' and Matthew Orr (16*). Sam Kincaid picked up three wickets and South African professional Divan Posthumus 2-42. McCarter then took three early wickets as the Bee Gees stumbled to 42 for 4, but an unbroken 5th wicket stand of 117 between Posthumus - whose 75 not out included 8 fours and 5 sixes - and David Cooke (26*) saw them home.
