Spain's men's team have been in Zagreb over the past few days for a five match T20I series against hosts Croatia in the first matches between the two sides since 2007.
The series began on Friday with Croatia scoring 125-9 batting first, with Yasir Ali taking six wickets for 28 runs as the hosts failed to capitalise on a good start of 70-1. Ali then top scored for Spain with 41 as they won by four wickets with 4.1 overs to spare.
In the second game, on Saturday, Only two Croatian batters reached double figures as they were bowled out for 52, Atif Mehmood taking 3-8. Spain knocked off the required runs in six overs to win by six wickets.
Croatia also struggled with the bat in the third game, also played on Saturday, this time with only one batter reaching double figures in their total of 47. Charlie Rumistrzewicz was the pick of the Spanish bowlers with 5-7. Hamza Dar then hit an unbeaten 28 from 17 balls as the visitors chased down their target in 8.1 overs to win by eight wickets.
The series concluded on Sunday with two more games. In the first of these, Spain batted first and racked up 205-5 from their 20 overs. Hamza Dar top scored with an unbeaten 70 from just 30 balls, with Mohammad Ihsan scoring 57 from 32. Sebastian Hughes-Pinan, who has played for Durham seconds this year, took 5-12 as Croatia were bowled out for 65, losing by 140 runs.
Long Martinez top scored with 79 from 50 balls with Hamza Dar smashing an unbeaten 50 from 15 balls as Spain scored 230-4 in the final game of the series. Croatia were then bowled out for 69 to lose by 161 runs and complete a whitewash for the tourists.

Spain will be playing in the third European sub-regional qualifier that starts in two weeks time in Guernsey, where they are drawn in a group with Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark and Greece.
